The teacher begins her teaching of a literary text by connecting the study to the students' own experiences and knowledge. This allows her to pose 'big picture' questions that will guide her students' study of the play. Because many of her students require motivation to write about texts, she adopts a performance-based approach to teaching that is highly experiential and student focused.
Centralian Senior College is the largest senior secondary education provider in Alice Springs. The school was established in 2005 and has approximately 600 students in years 10, 11 and 12.
