AITSL’s HALT Summit has been a flagship national event for over a decade, enabling Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers to deepen their expertise, be inspired, and connect with peers from across Australia.
From 2027, the AITSL Summit will move to a biennial format, providing opportunities to expand its audience and impact. This means there will be no national HALT Summit in 2026.
This change does not diminish AITSL’s commitment to national certification or to the expertise and practice of HALTs. Your work will continue to be recognised and supported by AITSL.
Over the next year, we’ll be designing the new AITSL Summit model and ensuring HALT voices are meaningfully embedded within it.
We invite you to share your ideas for the future AITSL Summit by completing this short survey.
