Why we’ve launched a new website

Our previous website has served its purpose well, but it was time for an update.

This new site has been designed to:

  • Make it easier to find tools and resources
  • Improve the site navigation
  • Introduce a cleaner, more modern design.

The new website has a more modern design, improved navigation and a more accessible experience. Whether you’re looking for the Teacher Standards, the Teacher Self-Assessment Tool, national frameworks, research, or practical resources: we’ve designed the site to get you where you need to be.

What’s changed?

A new design

The new design is cleaner and more modern, making it easier to browse through content.

Improved navigation

Pages and resources have been reorganised so you can find what you need with fewer clicks.

Powerful search

Our improved search lets you search the whole website for what you’re looking for; or use the handy filters in the Resources area to narrow down what you need by topic or career stage.

Faster, more accessible and more secure

The website delivers faster page loading, improved accessibility for all users, and stronger cyber security through modern and tested cloud infrastructure.

We have streamlined our digital ecosystem to focus on resources that are accessible, sustainable and support your teaching and professional learning.

This means we have removed some of our resources that are no longer providing you with the experience and benefits that you expect.

If you cannot find a resource you rely on, please email communications [at] aitsl.edu.au

We’ve love your feedback

We always want to hear from you so we can make sure we’re continuing to support Australia’s teachers and leaders.

If you have feedback about the new website or can’t find what you’re looking for, please complete our website feedback form.
