Teacher Standards

If you are studying teaching, supervising pre-service teachers, or involved in initial teacher education programs, you will be using the Graduate descriptors. All initial teacher education programs, and students graduating from these, must meet the descriptors at this first career stage.

Graduate teachers have completed a qualification that meets the requirements of a nationally accredited program of initial teacher education. The award of this qualification means that they have met the Graduate Standards.
