Collaborate: Reconciliation in Education

This Collaborate research summary explores the:

• findings from the Australian National University’s Centre for Social Research and Methods’ recent evaluation of Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali:Reconciliation in Education program
• supports available to teachers and school leaders to help them develop culturally responsive teaching practices and engage meaningfully with reconciliation alongside their students.

AITSL partnered with Reconciliation Australia’s school-based program Narragunnawali, and their evaluation partners at the Australian National University’s Centre for Social Research to develop this Collaborate. This Collaborate details important findings regarding reconciliation in Australian education settings and provides information about the support and resources available to teachers and school leaders, to help develop culturally responsive teaching practices and engage meaningfully with reconciliation alongside their students.
