Peter Mulcahy is the principal of Greenwood Primary School, a government school in the northern suburbs of Perth, WA.

Peter had a long period of preparation for the principal role with 24 years as a classroom teacher. At the heart of Peter’s practice as a principal is acting on a shared moral purpose derived from a strong evidence base, and consistent challenges around the conditions for learning, teaching, curriculum, parent and community support, leadership and professional learning.
