- Provides early years literacy educators with an overview of phonics, why it is so important and how best to teach it.
Module 5: Fluency
- 45 mins
- Provides early years literacy educators with an overview of fluency, why students need to develop fluency and how to best teach it.
Module 6: Vocabulary
- 30 mins
- Provides early years literacy educators with an overview of what vocabulary and morphology are.
Module 7: Comprehension
- 45 mins
- Provides early years literacy educators with an overview of planning for explicit instruction to support comprehension and assessment.
How to access the course
The course is hosted on The Literacy Hub. The Literacy Hub is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and managed by Education Services Australia. The Hub supports school leaders, teachers and families to engage in effective literacy practices.
