This self-paced course is designed to help principals and other school leaders understand their roles and responsibilities in supporting the implementation of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
The course comprises 3 modules and focuses on whole-school implementation of the NCCD. It explores key features of the NCCD that are fundamental for school leadership, including:
- establishing teams and building understanding of the school’s legislative obligations;
- the role of the school leader in planning effectively for the NCCD and facilitating collaborative engagement among all stakeholders;
- good practices for moderation and validation and guides leaders to develop an action plan to build on existing practices and processes, and evaluate and enhance your school’s implementation of the NCCD.
The course is suitable for both beginning and experienced school leaders. You will receive a certificate of completion after completing all 3 modules.
