A critical component of this approach is providing feedback to students to progress their learning, as well as using that information to adjust teaching to meet student needs.
Teachers use a range of feedback practices including learning goals and success criteria, self-assessment and peer-feedback, pre- and post-unit tests, and check-in activities to gauge student understanding.
