Attrition of teachers

The Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) held an attrition study to understand why teachers leave the profession. In this video, Deanne Cummins talks through the methodology and findings. 

She shares that literature suggests that there does not appear to be higher teacher attrition rates than other professions, but what is likely is that talented teachers and teachers in specific disciplines and some in geographic locations are proportionally higher in representation in that group.
