Board of Directors

AITSL is governed by an independent Board of Directors which provides strategic direction and oversight, appointed by the Minister for Education. Our Board Directors come from diverse professional and educational backgrounds and offer expert perspectives on what matters for teachers, leaders, children and young people across Australia.

The AITSL Board meets regularly during the year. The Board issues Board Meeting outcome summaries which are authorised by the Chair and summarise major decisions taken at each meeting.
