AITSL is not able to offer accommodation to participants for Summit 2018.
Schools and early childhood settings are exceptionally busy places and we acknowledge plans may change. In the event you are no longer able to attend, please contact us immediately on [email protected].
Cancellation of attendance prior to Friday 23 February 2018 will not incur a fee. However, cancellation after this date will incur a late cancellation fee. This will be invoiced to your school or site and is to cover venue and catering costs incurred by AITSL.
Registration will begin at 9.00 am Friday 16 March, and the Summit will conclude at 3.00 pm on Saturday 17 March.
Check out the Summit 2017 page on the AITSL website to see what you missed.
Please ensure you have registered to join the HALT Network to stay up to date. As the Summit approaches, AITSL will send out materials to equip members to engage and participate with conference presenters.
You can also follow #HALTnetwork and #HALTsummit18 on Twitter for updates.
An important part of the Summit program is dedicated to attendees sharing their expertise.
More information on this part of the event will be provided shortly.
An important goal of the Summit is to connect Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers from across Australia. Therefore, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn from, collaborate with, and celebrate beside your fellow nationally certified colleagues.
Yes! The Summit will provide you with a once in a lifetime opportunity to work alongside world leaders in education. The presenters will work with attendees throughout the Summit, and the masterclass sessions will provide more intimate opportunities to work with them.
Representatives from the certifying authorities will also share jurisdictional perspectives and contribute to the Summit conversation.
This is to ensure your principal is informed of your intention to attend Summit 18, and is particularly important given the first day of the Summit is on a Friday.
Join the Network! We will also be using Twitter to update and connect with each other as the conference approaches, so please keep an eye on #HALTnetwork and #HALTsummit18.
Depending on capacity, AITSL may open up invitations for participants to bring a colleague early in Term 1, 2018. To be eligible to attend, your colleague must be considering or undertaking national certification.
