This is a Year 2 Mathematics lesson focusing on the concept of money. This lesson builds on the students’ knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts and language related to a shopping theme taught in previous lessons. The activities connect to ‘real-life’ situations including the manipulation of notes and coins to make money amounts.
